Secession. Balkanization. Decentralization. Everyone has their own terminology for what's happened to the United States. The federal government still exists, but cities, states, and regions operate independently. Federal military personnel navigate a labyrinth of jurisdictional regulations to continue their missions in conflicts abroad — relying on automated systems that select, track, and eliminate targets on their own.

Horse Fly is a short film adapted from the opening chapter of the feature-length script, introducing Cameron Chung as she begins her journey through a fractured America.

The short will be public after it has completed its festival run.
